OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2013. In the frames of an official visit to Tajikistan Minister Oleh Proskuryakov has made a statement during opening of High-Level International Conference on Water Cooperation.

The Minister emphasized that the problem of water resources concerned every country and every person.

“Rational water use and constant movement in the direction of solving problems of water resources appear strategical investment for governments and their moral obligation to the citizens of their countries,” Oleh Proskuryakov said in a statement.

The Minister also stressed President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych paid a significant attention to the environmental policy in whole and an issue of securing and preserving water resources of our country, notably during a recent meeting of the National Defence and Security Council he had clearly determined priority tasks of the Government in the direction of effective management of water resources in Ukraine.
