OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2013. This year it is planned to harvest half a million tons of grapes in Ukraine. And it is by 9% more than last year.

In order to increase productivity of the national viticulture the Ministry of Agrarian Policy plans to initiate respective changes to the budget and the Program of activization of the economic development for 2013-2014.

The vineyards created owing to the program of state compensations facilitate such growth. In particular, in agricultural enterprises 64 thousand hectares of vineyards yield fruit. Almost 32 thousand hectares out of this number were laid just owing to the abovementioned program.
