For the first 7 months of 2013, Russia produced 2.6 million tons of paper, which is lower by 5.1% than last year, paperboard production for the same period amounted to 1.7 million tons, which is higher by 1.7% than in January-July 2012, as Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said in the statement.

In July 2013, in Russia, paper production decreased by 2% year-on-year, paperboard production increased by 0.4%.

Compared with June 2013, in July, paper production increased by 4.7%, paperboard production - by 6.6%
