BalticMiles Encourages Members to Burn Calories
OREANDA-NEWS. BalticMiles, the leading multi-partner loyalty program in Northern and Eastern Europe and Russia, has launched its official ‘Keep fit with BalticMiles’ Endomondo challenge to reward members who pursue an active lifestyle and are keen on burning calories.
Gabi Kool, Chief Executive Officer of BalticMiles, says: "We are proud to be the world’s first loyalty program to partner with Endomondo, a globally leading sports community based on free real-time GPS tracking, and create a unique challenge for our members to give that extra motivation to stay fit this summer and collect BalticMiles points. This partnership is another nice step in creating the leading coalition loyalty program in our core markets built around leading brands and innovation. In the first 2 weeks of the challenge we have seen already a very significant response with 13 000 members joining the challenge and already logging more than 4 million minutes of exercise, while burning 42 million calories. We hope this to be the start of a series of similar challenges in months to come, promoting a healthier lifestyle in general."
Ten lucky participants will receive 10 000 BalticMiles Points, enough for several free flights with airBaltic, which flies to 60 destinations in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
The challenge is open to all BalticMiles members who use the Endomondo workout tracking application on their smartphones. After signing up for the challenge, they will get one virtual lottery ticket for every 1000 calories they have burned. When the challenge is finished, ten lucky winners will be drawn from all the participants. The more calories are burned by midnight EET August 31, the better the chances for winning.
