OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2013. As of late July 2013, the total amount of loans issued by the Moldavian banks amounted to 38 billion 430.6 million lei, increasing over one month by 674 million lei (1.8%). As it was informed in the National Bank, the largest share accounts for commercial loans, which share grew from 37.6% up to 38% of the total loans.

Commercial loans as of late July 2013 amounted to 14 billion 597.9 million lei (2.8% compared with the previous month). Food industry loans amounted to 3 billion 528.2 million lei (2.1%), industrial production loans - 3 billion 077.04 million lei (1.9%), consumer loans - 2 billion 469.8 million lei (0.5%), agricultural loans - 2 billion 399.8 million lei (0.3%).

Loans in the field of transport, telecommunications and network development made 2 billion 029.3 million lei (0.9%), loans in the sector of services- 2 billion 044.6 million lei (2.6%), loans for the purchase or construction of real estate - 1 billion 614.6 million lei (5.4%), loans in construction - 1 billion 573.06 million lei (4.3%), loans to individuals, engaged in various types of activities - 1 billion 521.9 million lei (2.3%), energy credits - 1 billion 010.7 million lei (0.5%) and loans to the non-bank financial sector – 987,1million lei (+4%).
