OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2013. As Director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communication and Information technologies Grigore Varanita briefed to journalists, the license was revoked because its holder had failed to remedy imperfections causing its suspension.

The resolution on the revocation adopted by the ANRCETI Administrative was preceded by the resolution on suspension of Eventis Mobile’s license. The latter was adopted at the request of Eventis Mobile’s insolvency administrator and verified later by the ruling of the Court of Ciocani borough dated May, 29, 2013. By that ruling, Eventis Mobile had in writing to notify ANRCETI that suspension-causing imperfections had been remedied.

As Eventis Mobile failed to notify ANRCETI, the Agency again inquired for this information, but in vain, Girgore Varanita said. Besides, Mobile Eventis’ insolvency administrator was notified that ANRCETI would take due measures if the information is not submitted. By law in force, imperfections causing the suspension of the license are considered remedied if the court that has ruled to suspend it makes the otherwise judgment. Until this judgment is made, the resolution of ANRCETI to revoke the license is valid.

The revocation resolution of ANRCETI is to be filed to court for a final decision to come into effect. Eventis Mobile was licensed to render GSM mobile communication services in December, 2006 and launched the service in December, 2007, ANRCETI says. Since April, 2010 the company has undergone the insolvency procedure in line with the resolution of the Economic Appellate Court.
