After the Seminar of Persons in Charge of Central Enterprises, President Jia Baojun and his group paid a visit to Shizuishan upon invitation to investigate the investment and development environment, and carried out a field trip to Ningxia Fire-resistant Materials Institute Company of Sinosteel. 

President Jia, accompanied by the Municipal Party Secretary Peng Youdong and the Mayor Wang Yongyao, paid a visited to Shizuishan Xinghan Group Corporation, CNMC Ningxia Orient Group Co., Ltd., Ninxia Jiyuan Metallurgy Group and other companies, and exchanged ideas with the Secretary and the Mayor on matters pertaining to development opportunities and further strategic cooperation for Sinosteel and Shizuishan during the west development and the establishment of experimental zones of open economy in the inner regions. 

President Jia, accompanied by the Mayor Wang Yongyao and Deputy Mayor Jiang Wenling, paid a visit to Binhe New Material Company of Sinosteel Ningxia Fire-resistant Materials Institute. The New Material Company of Sinosteel Ningxia Fire-resistant Materials Institute is a joint venture established by Sinosteel Luoyang Fire-resistant Materials Institute and Pingluo Binhe Carborun dum Products Co., Ltd. President Jia closely inspected the operations of material warehouse, ingredient mixing workshop, modeling workshop, drying workshop, and nitridation sintering workshop, and got detailed information about productivity progress, technical principles, debugging and commissioning of the production line, as well as product quality, marketing and safety in production.

President Jia stressed that first of all, successful experiences of project cooperation and construction shall be carefully summarized from the point of the future of the enterprise and local development; second, sense of urgency and awareness shall be fostered for further operation, and we need to have clearer production orientation and forward-looking marketing system and concepts to secure traditional markets, create new demands and switch to the new road of integrated innovation, and we also need to innovate new mechanical system of operation, take advantages of central and private enterprises, and seek supportive policies for the high-tech industry from the levels of the state, the autonomous region and the municipality of Shizuishan; third, we need to push forward related business cooperation on industry extending, energy conservation, application of new technologies, in addition to seeking other development opportunities in accordance with the strategic cooperation agreement reached between the company and the municipality of Shizuishan.

The Mayor Wang Yongyao said in the meeting that the successful project was a model case in the cooperation between private and central enterprises, which directed a new way for Shizuishan’s industry development, and Shizuishan was looking forward to deeper cooperation with Sinosteel in various fields and would provide the best service and environment for Sinosteel’s development in Shizuishan.
