OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2013. Ukraine may start exports of meat and meat products to China from next year. And the work on certification of Ukrainian meat is being carried. In addition, China will soon complete the certification of Ukrainian wheat, barley and soybeans. This was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk today at a briefing in the Government House.

"I’ve recently had a week-long visit to China. I want to point out that the market of this country is one of the most regulated. However, we have achieved significant results in promoting our agricultural products to China. So today we have the certification of corn. Next week a working group comes that will complete the certification of wheat, barley and soybeans," the Minister said.

Also, according to the head of the Ministry it has been started the work on supplying of meat and meat products to the Chinese market.

"Certification of meat may take 2-3 months. And from the next year, Ukraine plans to start deliveries of meat and meat products to China," Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
