OREANDA-NEWS. Export of oil products from Azerbaijan for Jan-Jul of the year made up 60.87% of the total export for 2012.

 The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan informs that for Jan-Jul 2013 export of petroleum products from the country reached 982,503 tons for USD 731.886 million, including 125,963 tons for USD 91.9 million in July against 223,215 tons for USD 112.213 million in May (this year’s best figure on export volume) and 164,104 tons for USD 130.378 million in March (this year’s best index on income).

 This export ensured 5.28% of country’s overall export for Jan-Jul (USD 13.86 bn) but turned out by 4.94% more than for the 2012 same term (USD 697.416 million).

 In 2012, Azerbaijan exported 1.6 million tons of petroleum products for USD 1.3 bn, which was lower by 13.51% of their exports in 2011 (USD 1.527 bn). In 2012 petroleum products accounted for 5.53% of total export from the country.
