Ukraine to Brisk Up Work on Technical Regulations of Customs Union
OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov demands to intensify efforts at reforming the technical regulations of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia and Ukraine.
This was started by Head of the Government during a working visit to Lugansk region.
"We have now some difficulties related to the creation, structuring of the Customs Union, there are differences in approach. It's very important now to enhance and extend our cooperation with countries of the Customs Union, especially in terms of approximation in the field of technical regulations and agreements that govern the customs procedure. And now we are working on it," Mykola Azarov said.
However, he has once again stressed that we can not oppose Ukraine's cooperation with the EU and the countries of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, so Ukraine will develop cooperation with these two unions.
Mykola Azarov called on national media not to speculate on the issue of alleged conflict between Ukraine and the Customs Union.
"We have problems, but these problems you should now artificially inflate and exaggerate. First of all, the issue is in the coordination of our position, it is not an easy work, but it will definitely give results. We strongly believe in this," Mykola Azarov said.
