OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against “Territorial Centre for the Means of Rehabilitation” Ltd., “DYUNA” Ltd. (“Medexpress” Ltd.), “Aprel” Ltd. “Predgorie Kavkaza” Trading House” Ltd., “Region Logistic” Ltd., “Bashkiria Centre for the Means of Rehabilitation” Ltd. and an individual entrepreneur Ulaniovskaya upon signs of violating Clause 2 Part 2 Article 11 of the Law “On Protection of Competition”.

FAS believes that these legal entities concluded anticompetitive agreements to maintain the highest possible prices and make sure that “Territorial Centre for the Means of Rehabilitation” Ltd. would win the open auctions for supplying technical means of rehabilitations for disabled persons in the Krasnodar, Kursk and Belgorod regions and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

“Special public threat of the agreements investigated in this case is that the subject matter was the auctions for procurement of socially important goods for the disabled”, pointed out the Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department Andrey Tenischev.
