Gerdau Launches Its Social Responsibility Profile
OREANDA-NEWS. Gerdau launched its Social Responsibility Profile in July with the aim of presenting its social responsibility efforts. Today over 900 social responsibility initiatives in 174 communities in 14 countries are developed through the Gerdau Institute. At every plant location, the Company seeks to create value for the communities, the business supply chain, and society as a whole. Thus, in order to ensure the solid structure of the Institute, local leaders and teams organized into Gerdau Institute Committees guide the various initiatives supported by thousands of volunteer employees.
