OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2013. Incheon International Airport Corporation held ‘The Establishment of a New Management Strategy to Start the Upcoming 20 Years Workshop’ for the executives and staff members of the entire corporation in Training Institute of Incheon Airport Corporation.

The Workshop was started with a talk of Jung, Chang-Soo, the newly appointed President & CEO of Incheon Airport, in which he delivered a message sharing his managing philosophy with the executives and staff members of the entire corporation. The talk was followed by the enlightening lecture of an invited key-note speaker, who focused on the importance of the vision and the strategy toward the future. The workshop was proceed with various programs, such as practical task in-group discussion aimed to deduct the problem-solution measures for the major issues Incheon Airport is facing with the hub airport competition becoming more and more intensifying and within the rapidly changing management environment.

Incheon Airport Corporation was started in 1992 with the first stage of groundbreaking ceremony, followed by successful opening case, and finally reached one of the top-class rank as an airport-specialized corporation. Nevertheless, it is not satisfied with high achievements of the past 20 years, establishing new management strategies for the upcoming 20 years, which aimes to cope with challenges of rough world economy.

Incheon Airport, which once has passed through the 20-year-cycle of a long-term master-plan establishment, start of construction according to the 3-stage construction roadmap,going through the actual constructions work and finally reaching the successful opening and operation of the airport, is now facing the turning point to start a new 20 years of circulation cycle.

To be able to continue to grow as an airport-specialized corporation, Incheon Airport has planned to prepare the energy to increasingly develop its present status.

To grow into the global airport leader, Incheon Airport Corporation gathered the accumulated experience and know-how of the entire workers at this Workshop.
