OREANDA-NEWS. The amount of contacts for overseas contracted projects newly-signed in the first half of 2013 all over Chongqing reached USD 795 million, with y-o-y growth of 45.3%; the turnover reached USD 310 million, with y-o-y growth of 47.1%.

 It is known that enterprises in Chongqing newly-signed contracts for contracted projects with 8 countries and regions including Libya and India in the first half of 2013. Liu Zuquan from General Office of Foreign Trade Group says, “It grows more mature of Chongqing enterprises to perform engineering cooperation overseas and the opportunities for cooperation are increasing in recent years. Local Pattern is mainly applied for overseas contracted engineering projects, that is, we supply technology and management; as for workers, most of them are hired locally.”
