OREANDA-NEWS. Within the 1st half of 2013 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SPSP) transferred 22.1 mln. rubles for the implementation of the social programmes. 

Main part of the funds was transferred to the Target Fund, which is used to support the employees of the port, reimburse expenses for the treatment and recreation of the employees and their families. The company also paid cash bonuses to the non-working pensioners and employees who were granted “Veteran of the Port” title.

“Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” continued the implementation of the social policy aimed at the care of children. In May of 2013 the company arranged excursion to the interactive museum of science “LabirintUM” for the children of the port workers. Here children got acquainted with principles of various physical laws and origin of extraordinary phenomena of the surrounding world. Besides, the company reimbursed the major part of the cost of vouchers for employees’ children to the recreation camp “Mayak” during summer holidays. 

 “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” traditionally supports sponsored orphanage Nr. 10 of Kirov district of Saint-Petersburg. Besides, SPSP supports sports shooting club “Olimpiets”, which has center for training of young sportsmen. This center trains children shooting free-of-charge.
