OREANDA-NEWS. Gazpromneft-Aero and Volga-Dnepr Group have entered into an agreement regarding fueling services for cargo flights at 26 foreign airports. For the first time, Gazpromneft-Aero will provide fueling for the aviation company's aircraft at 17 new airports in countries where turnover of goods is increasing: India, the UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Spain, Serbia and Cyprus.

The contract is for one year and involves a tenfold increase in the amount of fuel supplied to Volga-Dnepr Airlines and AirBridgeCargo Airlines, both part of Volga-Dnepr Group, through Gazpromneft-Aero's overseas network, which at present includes more than 100 airports. Total fuel volumes for the year will reach more than 15,000 metric tons.

Gazpromneft-Aero provides fueling services for the aviation company's flights overseas, in partnership with direct suppliers of aviation fuel, including the Italian oil company Eni, Hindustan Petroleum from India and the UAE's national oil company, ENOC.

“Our partnerships with direct fuel suppliers - leaders in the overseas fuel supply market - mean that we can guarantee our clients a reliable, high-quality service, prompt fueling and adherence to the pricing formula in use at all of the airports where Gazpromneft-Aero operates,” Gazpromneft-Aero General Director Vladimir Egorov stressed.

Volga-Dnepr's Vice President for Charter Business Development, Dennis Gliznoutsa, commented: “We have been working with Gazpromneft-Aero for some time now and we are delighted to see this growth in our cooperation. The fact that there is a broad range of countries which meet our requirements and suit the direction in which Volga-Dnepr Group is developing, a common pricing system in effect at all the airports in the fueling network, and an efficient fueling service for the Group's fleet, means that we can make more efficient use of both our finances and our time to solve our long-term strategic challenges more successfully.”
