OREANDA-NEWS. SCM announced the results of the first national contest, Gifts with Ukrainian Soul, engaging 276 artists from 22 Ukrainian oblasts and Crimea who submitted 525 artworks.

“We are sincerely grateful to all craftsmen who took part in the contest. They submitted so many fabulous artworks that picking winners was no easy thing. Although the contest is over, we stay open to new original ideas in Ukrainian decorative arts as the next contest will be launched next year. Our ideas bank will stay running, and arts and crafts masters can still place their works and ideas there. We hope that not only businesses but also partners of SCM Group will benefit from these ideas,” noted Natalia Yemchenko, SCM's Director of Public Relations and Communications.

The winners will get orders to produce gifts for SCM Group and display their works in November at the exhibitions organised by ArtPoint project in Kiev, Donetsk and Lvov. The best works in FreeStyle and SCM Group's Masters nominations presented out of competition will also be showcased.
