OREANDA-NEWS. Net operational revenue of the Georgian company of mobile communication Mobitel Co. (Beeline TM) totalled GEL 36 million in Q2 2013. It is by 19% more than in Q2 2012. It is reported in the JSC Vimpel - Communications’ statement of financial and operational results for Q2 2013.

Total net operational revenue of VimpelCom reached USD 69 million in HY 2013, by 22% more than in HY 2012.  

About 1 010 thousand active consumers were registered as of the end of June 2013. Increase of the consumer basis compared to June 2012 made 12%. MOU index (the monthly number of used minutes per consumer) made 251 minutes (+7%), while ARPU index (average monthly account per consumer) made GEL 11 (-2%).

Let us remind that in July 2006, Russian Company Vimpel-Communications operating under Beeline TM purchased at USD 12,6 million 51% of the Georgian Mobitel Ltd. operator of cell phone communication, as well as the option on purchase of the rest 49% of share in Mobitel. Mobitel Ltd. owns licenses on service of cell communication under GSM-1800 standard till the middle of 2013.
