OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2013. The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has approved Internal Rules of Procedure of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan on work with information requests in order to ensure implementation of Paragraph 1.1 of the National Action Plan for 2012-2015 on Promotion of Open Government approved at the order, dated 5 September 2012, of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Right to obtain information.

According to the relevant order, responsible persons of the Central Bank on freedom of information have been appointed: Director of Communications Department – on information requests received from mass media, Director of Department of Supervision over Credit Institutions – on information requests to Hot line, and Head of General Department – on other information requests.

Internal Rules of Procedure of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan on work with information requests have been palced in the Legislation section of the CBA website (www.cbar.az).
