OREANDA-NEWS. On July 16 the Russian embassy in Berlin hosted an annual summer concert of Russian music co-organized by the German-Russian Parliament group.

This year the Russian folk orchestra The Silver Strings from St. Petersburg performed works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Strauss, Mussorgsky, Bizet, Shostakovich and others.

More than 350 representatives of the German Parliament, businessmen and social activists attended the concert. In particular, the concert guests included 38 ambassadors of different nations based in Berlin.

Kirovsky Zavod was among the main sponsors of the concert. The Kirov Group also presented information about its international activities and products of its German daughter companies Monforts Werkzeugmaschinen und Goppel Bus.
