OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ-Foundry Manufacture, part of OMZ Group, signed a contract with Kottner GmbH&Co. KG on execution of investment projects complex aimed at technical re-equipment of figured steel castings foundry №38, including modernization of the molding processing and casting knock out zones.

In the course of the project execution OMZ-Foundry Manufacture will take delivery of the equipment produced by a high-profile German company Kottner GmbH&Co. KG and GUT Giesserei Umwelt Technik GmbH.

According to the contract delivery start is scheduled for December 2013. Hook-up and commissioning works are planned to be accomplished in Q3 2014.

This project of modernization of foundry mould technologies is the most large-scale in the history of foundry manufacture development at the Izhora industrial site.

The contract is valued more than €5.5 mln including engineering activities.
