OREANDA-NEWS. Aozora Bank, Ltd. announced the launch of the ‘My Brilliant 60s Story’ contest, to be held from Monday August 12 until Monday September 30, 2013.

This contest invites the submission of stories related to a broad range of activities such as sports, travel, music or the pursuit of dreams from members of Japan’s senior generation, focusing on people in their Brilliant 60s, but also including people in their 50s who are preparing for such future challenges.

Winners will be announced at the beginning of November via the Aozora website following a strict judgment process. Through this contest, the Bank aims to encourage more people in their Brilliant 60s to develop an interest in a more active lifestyle.

Aozora’s Brilliant 60s Strategy Brilliant 60s is the name given by the Bank to Japan’s extremely adventurous and active generation that is mainly comprised of people in their 60s. With the retail branding message, ‘Together with the Brilliant 60s’, the Bank is focused on specialized consulting services for this customer segment. This strategy is intended to enhance the Bank’s branding and penetration, and underpin its aim of becoming the ‘Primary Secondary Bank: Another Reliable Partner’ to its customers.
