Russian Agricultural Bank, Alfa-Bank Merge ATM Networks
OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2013. Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) and Alfa-Bank merged their ATM networks. The partners` joint network includes approximately 6000 cash machines in 1660 towns and rural settlements across Russia.
From now on holders of Visa and MasterCard issued by RusAg and Alfa-Bank are free from additional charges or limitations on cash withdrawal operations in ATMs of the network. Customers of both banks get an opportunity to use cash machines of RusAg and Alfa-Bank on the equal terms.
The joint network will significantly broaden the geographical coverage of banking services. Cardholders of Russian Agricultural Bank will gain access to the partner`s ATMs which are well presented in big cities. Alfa-Bank`s customers will enjoy an opportunity to withdraw money in RusAg`s cash machines in towns and rural areas in 78 regions of the Russian Federation.
The merge of ATM networks will substantially improve the availability of the services for individual customers and facilitate their card operations throughout the country.
