OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2013. Abundant precipitation does not yet allow the agrarians to reach full capacity, but already now in a number of farms grasses for hay are mowed on more than 70% of fields.

Maximum crop capacity of hay – 8 centners per hectare – was reached by SP “Siberia” (Isil’kul’sky district). The same farm registered the highest productivity of green mass per haylage and for cattle fodder. Good rates of hay procurement can be seen on SP “Kalinino”, where 610 tonnes of hay had already been transported to the hayloft.

Fallow treatment is performed in all structural subdivisions simultaneously with fodder procurement. Besides, titan farmers went down to ploughing up of permanent grasses and summer sowing of rape and annual plants.

Total area of ploughed field on farms of “APK “Titan” exceeds 91 kha. About 76 kha is used for crops, of them 63,5 kha is used for spring sowing, including 54,9 kha – for grain cultures. Fallow wedge amounts to 15,7 kha.
