OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2013. ICBC won "2012-2013 China Banking Internet Services - Best Innovation" at the recent "2013 iResearch Awards" hosted by iResearch Consulting Group. ICBC is the only bank to win the award this year.

iResearch Consulting Group ("iResearch") is a company focusing on online media, e-commerce and online finance, and provides market study reports and consultancy services. "iResearch Awards" recognizes companies with achievements in China Internet and mobile internet innovation over the previous 12 months, based on the market research data. The aim is to push the healthy and fast growth of the sectors. In this year's competition, ICBC won this award after screening by iResearch experts in a two-month evaluation process.

On average, ICBC launches dozens of innovative electronic banking products every year and upgrades hundreds of functions. Just in 2012-2013, ICBC rolled out many heavyweight innovative products. That included different versions of Personal Internet Banking - Apple, Firefox, Google, Android/Microsoft tablet PCs, and intelligent voice Telephone Banking services, new app for SMS Banking, Mobile Life app for customers to buy cinema tickets, air tickets or make golf reservation without logining mobile banking.
