PM: Modern Infrastructure of Kyiv Will Develop
OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2013. While chatting on Facebook Prime Minister Mykola Azarov informed that only if there will be coordinated work of the Government, the Kyiv City State Administration and the Kyiv City Council the city of Kyiv to develop in accordance with outlined scale plan.
"There are many problems in Kiev and to solve them coordinated work of the Government, the Kyiv City State Administration and the Kyiv City Council needed. If someone begins to sabotage, then, of course, a solution of problems is hampered," Mykola Azarov said.
He said that, unfortunately, the Kyiv City Council does not take on time critically important solutions for Kyiv’s survival through its blocking by opposition politicians who "knowingly operate on the principle: the worse the better."
In particular, according to Mykola Azarov, this concerns the commissioning another Metro station "Teremky" of the Kyiv Metro. "If the Kyiv City Council took the decision timely, the construction of the metro station Teremky would be completed in May," the Prime Minister said, adding that now the commissioning of the station will be by the Day of the liberation of Kyiv on November 6, 2013.
Mykola Azarov also informed this issue he discussed with the Secretary of the Kyiv City Council Halyna Gerega. The Prime Minister appealed to the people of Kiev with a request "to express their opinion about politicians who do not give the Kyiv City Council opportunity to decide the most important decision for Kyiv’s survival under various pretexts."
Mykola Azarov stressed that Kyiv will develop in the future, and the current government has ambitious plans to implement large-scale infrastructure projects in the capital.
