OREANDA-NEWS. According to preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 3 048.9 million as of 31 July 2013. The index is more than that as of 30 June 2013 by USD 67.2 million.

The international reserve converted in foreign currency totals USD 2 827.4 million as of 31 July, including that floated as securities – USD 1 810.4 million as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) – USD 1 017.0 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totals USD 221.5 million. Reserve position with IMF totals USD 15.1 thousand.

Since 2013, the NBG international reserve was increased by USD 175.9 million and reached the historic maximum.
