Selling Prices of Agricultural Products in Moldova Grew by 6,8%
OREANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2013. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-June 2013 crop products prices have grown by 17.3%, while the selling prices of the livestock products decreased by 2.9%.
The most significant price increase was registered for: potatoes - by 3.1 times, grapes - 2.5 times, grains and legumes - by 23.4%. In particular, the prices for wheat grew by 29.8%, corn - 32.6%. Prices for sunflower have increased by 15.4%.
The prices for cattle in live weight increased by 14.4%, milk - by 7.6%. At the same time, the decrease in prices for fruits and berries - by 6.7%, eggs - by 12.8%, poultry (live weight) - 5.3% and sheep and goats - by 3.6% was registered.
It should be noted that in 2012 prices of agricultural products in Moldova increased by 17.7%.
