GE Provides USD 15,000 Grant to Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation
OREANDA-NEWS. As part of the corporate leadership and growth Chairman’s award that was bestowed to a Senior Vice President & General Manager within GE Capital’s Retail Finance business, the recipient, Curtis Howse, used that opportunity to support the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation (ABHOFF) of Little Rock, Ark. e ABHOFF recognizes the achievements of African Americans with significant Arkansas ties, who have achieved national and international acclaim in their fields of endeavor.
“We are so very pleased to receive this generous grant from GE. The grant will strengthen the ABHOFF grant program and will allow us to add two additional grants to our current grant cycle,” said ABHOFF Chairman and CEO Charles Stewart. he two grants will focus on education and youth development to strengthen educational opportunities and outcomes for African American males and will help develop leadership skills for young children.”
“With this grant, we are positively impacting the lives of those in need, by improving educational opportunities and economic development in African American and other under-served communities throughout Arkansas,” said Howse.
