OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2013. CNPC Chairman Zhou Jiping met with ExxonMobil Senior Vice President Mark W. Albers in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth and fruitful talks and inked important agreements.

Zhou Jiping said that CNPC attaches great importance to the cooperation with ExxonMobil, and hopes to expand and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two companies based on mutual trust, understanding, support and common development. Mark W. Albers said that the high quality cooperation with CNPC has created great wealth for both sides in the past five years. He hopes to have more opportunities to carry out extensive cooperation.

After the meeting, the two sides signed a joint study agreement on Changdong Block of the Ordos Basin in China, and a cooperation agreement on related projects outside China.

PetroChina Vice President Zhao Zhengzhang, Bo Qiliang, Ran Xinquan and leaders from International Department, Foreign Cooperation Department and CNODC were present at the meeting.
