From this year you can not only by phone to issue an appeal to the Government Contact Center (GCC), but also via the Internet.

In 2014, GCC will work around the clock and will introduce a number of new services. First of all, it concerns a consultation on administrative services (registration grants, financial assistance at birth, business registration, etc.) through the Centers of administrative services or through branches Ukrposhta," vice Prime Minister Olexandr Vilkul said during the meeting in the Government Contact Center.

Every day the hotline receives 2000 calls from residents of Ukraine. In 2013 it has been registered 261.2 thousand appeals, in 1.8 times more than in the same period of last year.

It has been resolved such as the following issues by these appeals. It was restored hot water supply in Khmelnytsky, renovated sewer pipes in Bryanka of Lugansk region, restored centralized water supply in Novovoroncovka of Kherson region, reconstructed the pipeline in Konstantinovka of Donetsk region.

As the director of the Government Contact Center Valeriy Plokhiy noted, review of all applications completed only after the applicant personally confirmed positive decision of the problem.

Olexandr Vilkul talked with operators and personally received several calls. Among the issues that troubled citizens he was asked about raising utility tariffs.

Answering the call Olexandr Vilkul said: "Utility tariffs should be stable. Local councils, which allowed tariff increases, should re-check their validity. This issue is under special control of the Government," vice Prime Minister said, adding that all tariffs were raised with violation of the law and they have to be abolished.
