In July 2013, Deflation Index in Georgia Made 1.3%
OREANDA-NEWS. Deflation in Georgia made 1.3% in July 2013, as compared to June 2013.
Over the reporting period, prices of foodstuffs and of light drinks were decreased by 4.6%. Prices of communal service were decreased by 0.2%. Prices of service at hotels, cafe and restaurants were increased by 0.1%, prices of alcohol drinks and tobacco were increased by 0.1%. Prices of transport use were increased by 0.2%, while those in the health care field - by 1.6%. Prices in the education field and prices of communication service remained unchanged.
In July 2013 compared to July 2012, the deflation index in Georgia made 0.2%. Prices of alcohol drinks and tobacco were increased by 2.4%. Service at hotels, cafe and restaurants rose in price by 3,9%. Prices of communal services were increased by 0.1%. Prices in the health care field were increased by 5.6%. Prices of foodstuffs and light drinks were decreased by 1.1%. Prices of transport use were decreased by 2.9%, those in the education field were decreased by 1.8% in the reporting period. Prices in the communications field were decreased by 0.1%.
