OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2013. Tomsk Avia airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport,commences direct daily flights from Novosibirsk to Kemerovo, Barnaul and Novokuznetsk.

Departure time to Kemerovo is 08:40 a.m. each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 12:20 p.m. – each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The return flights are performed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:05 a.m., on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – at 01:45 p.m. Travel time totals 55 minutes.

Daily departures from Novosibirsk to Barnaul are scheduled at 06:35 p.m., from Barnaul – at 07:50 p.m. Travel time makes up 45 minutes.

Flights on Novosibirsk – Novokuznetsk route are operated each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 08:40 a.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – at 11:40 a.m. Returns flights are performed each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday – at 10:25 a.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – at 01:25 p.m. Travel time totals 1 hour 15 minutes.

Furthermore, starting from August 1, 2013, Tomsk Avia airlines increases its flight frequency on Novosibirsk – Tomsk route: daily flights will be operated twice per day.

Local time is specified for all destinations. Flights are performed on a 9-seater Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft.

Launching of flights from Novosibirsk to Kemerovo, Barnaul and Novokuznetsk became possible due to RF Government Regulation No.509 dated June 18, 2013 onsubsidizing air carriers for regional passenger air services provided in the Russian Federation territory and development of the national regional route network in 2013.

In this way, the air traffic between Novosibirsk and West Siberia to be gradually reestablishing, prior have not being developed for over 10 years. Flights on the route Novosibirsk – Kemerovo were not operated since the middle 1990s, on Novosibirsk – Novokuznetsk route – since 1998. Regular flights between Novosibirsk and Barnaul were performed up to 2000.

Within the framework of RF Government Regulation No.509, flights frequencies on Tomsk and Omsk destinations are expected to be increased.

In accordance with RF Government Regulation No.265 dated March 27, 2013, flights departing from Novosibirsk to Gorno-Altaisk (Tomsk Avia, 3 weekly flights), Kyzyl (TomskAvia, 3 weekly flights), Strezhevoy (TomskAvia, 3 weekly flights), Khanty-Mansiysk (UTair, one weekly flight) to be subsidized.
