OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2013. The Government is ready to support a joint investment project of Kherson Machine-Building Plant and CLAAS on production of modern combine harvesters. This was started by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov during the Cabinet meeting, which was held under his chairmanship.

He stressed that the first one, which made jointly by the CLAAS and Kherson machine-building factory, today was produced.

“The first testing combine harvester rolled off the assembly line. The planned production capacity by 2020 is 7688 units, including in 2013 - 350 units,” Serhiy Arbuzov noted.

He added the CLAAS plans to invest in the project of USD 1.7 billion.

“I instruct Ministers Mr. Prysyazhnyuk and Mr, Prasolov to study the project and consider providing government guarantees,” the First vice Prime Minister said.
