OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2013. The First vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov instructed relevant ministries to organize school fairs, as well as to check school products in commercial establishments. He said this during the Cabinet meeting on August 1, which was held under his chairmanship.

"Today the last month of summer begins, so we should not waste time. We should initiate school fairs now. No one needs artificial hype before September 1," Serhiy Arbuzov said.

He also drew attention to the safety of school products. "Remember our initiative to improve safety of toys. School products should also be included in the relevant list," Serhiy Arbuzov said and instructed the heads of Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Education and Science in cooperation together with the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection to check school products in commercial establishments, and take strict measures to offenders.

The First vice Prime Minister also asked the Minister of Education and Science to make public schools have not received information about the date of start of the training process in 2013. Recall that September 1 2013 is on a Sunday. People are worried, especially parents of first-graders, "- he said.

Serhiy Arbuzov recalled that yesterday was deadline for submission of documents for entering to universities. "First of all, there were taken into account system needs of the economy. It has been increased the volume of state order on natural mathematical and engineering specialties." According to Serhiy Arbuzov, the state has done everything best to organize a successful entrance campaign. First of all it financed public procurement by UAH 25 billion.
