World Trade Center Moscow Hosted Roundtable
OREANDA-NEWS. The World Trade Center Moscow hosted the roundtable “Settling customs disputes: foreign experience and Russian practice.”
The round table was attended by representatives of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, RUIE, “OPORA ROSSII”, “DELOVAYA ROSSIA”, industry associations, business and expert community.
During the course of the round table attendees presented statistical information on departmental and judicial appeal of decisions, adopted by the customs authorities; an analysis of the practice of customs disputes resolution in Germany and the role of the country’s Chamber of Commerce in particular; the expediency of using this experience in the realities of Russia and the Customs Union, suggestions for improving the customs disputes settling procedures in the Russian Federation.
In conclusion Oleg Sazanov Head of Department of International Cooperation and Trade Facilitation of the WTC Moscow stated that this very event shall become the first link in a row of expert discussions of the customs regulation agenda with the participation of the Federal Customs Service representatives.
