OREANDA-NEWS. The first-ever Ural Airlines and Koltsovo Airport plane spotting in honour of the 70th anniversary of civil aviation in the Urals has finished.

23 through 26 July, Ural Airlines’ airliners and Koltsovo Airport were ‘in the crosshairs’ of participants’ cameras. Every day at dawn and in any weather the plane spotters could make interesting and breathtaking shots of airplanes taking off and landing and aircraft maintenance procedures. Hundreds of photographers from all across the land were offered the most attractive viewpoints: from taxiways near the runway, on the apron, from the roof of Angelo Hotel.

Plane spotters can choose the best ones from several thousands photos of Ural Airlines aircraft and the airport grounds, and send them for the exposition to be compiled at Koltsovo.
