BP Adds 17 Branded Retail Sites in Northeast Michigan
OREANDA-NEWS. BP announced that it is adding 17 more branded sites in Michigan's Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area. The agreement, which was finalized in June, represents approximately 19 million gallons of new volume for BP and also expands the brand's relationship with Brighton-based Corrigan Oil.
The 17 site conversions are expected to start by the end of August. At that time, converted sites will begin offering all three grades of BP gasoline with Invigorate, with BP Diesel available at select sites.
“This agreement is the latest example of BP's continued commitment to supply quality BP fuel to consumers and strengthen the brand's presence East of the Rockies,” said Amy Abraham, BP vice president of marketing and communications. “We are also thrilled to be growing our relationship with Corrigan Oil, which has always been a leader in Northeast Michigan.”
When the site conversions are complete, BP will have 42 total sites in the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area. Corrigan Oil will supply a total of 96 BP-branded sites and operate 23 of the locations as a chain under the “Express Stop” brand.
“BP has strengthened many of its sales and operations offerings recently, which made this conversion even more appealing for Corrigan Oil,” said Tim Corrigan, Corrigan Oil vice president. “From strong offers to strong marketing support, we know BP is committed to helping our business grow.”
