OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2013. Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, Qatar Petroleum held its Ramadan Ghabga  at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha.

The event, which is organised annually by QP Department of Public Relations and Communications on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, was attended by QP directors and department managers as well as the CEOs, managing directors and other top officials of QP’s joint ventures and subsidiaries.

During the event, H.E. the Minister also exchanged Ramadan greetings with all distinguished guests, and he held cordial conversations with senior officials on topics of mutual interest, thus contributing in further strengthening the bonds between QP directorates and departments and the invited companies.

The Ghabga is considered one of the meals during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Set between Iftar and Sohour, it is a highly popular social tradition that has been practiced for years in the Gulf. 

QP organizes special occasions like the Ghabga every year to continuously promote friendship, brotherhood and a sense of community among all stakeholders in Qatar’s oil and gas industry.
