OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) allowed “Rosenergoatom” Concern” OJSC to purchase 55.13% voting shares of “Termoxid” Production-and-Research” Company” CJSC, located in the Sverdlovsk region.

“Rosenergoatom” Concern” OJSC is one of the largest companies in Russian electric power industry and the only company in the country exercising the functions of an organization operating nuclear power stations. “Termoxid” Production-and-Research” Company” CJSC is mainly involved in production chemicals products for the nuclear industry.

If the transaction takes place, “Rosenergoatom” Concern” OJSC will own 100% voting shares of “Termoxid” Production-and-Research” Company” CJSC.

The FAS decision is valid for a year, so if the transaction us not completed by 23rd July 2014, “Rosenergoatom” Concern” OJSC will have to file a new petition to the antimonopoly body.
