OREANDA-NEWS. Transgarant LLC reduced the flatcars empty run ratio to 0.4% in the first half of 2013, which is 2 times less than the previous year (0.8%). It was achieved due to the boost of sent express container trains (ECT), shuttling between Moscow, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk, by 44.5% to 522 ECT.

 Transgarant LLC also expands the customer base for the retail shipping containers, which also affected the decrease in the proportion of empty runs. The number of companies that "Transgarant" offers transportation of containers at retail on an ongoing basis, increased by 25% to 160.
