OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2013. The scope of construction works carried by enterprises of Ukraine in January-June 2013 is amounted to UAH 23 billion. During the same period 4.5 million square meters of housing are taken into operation, which is 6.6% more than in the previous year.

This was stated by Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennadiy Temnyk.

"It is clear that the construction industry is gradually overcoming the global financial crisis. It is too early to make estimates. But the positive changes that occur, give us confidence that we move in the right direction," the Minister said.

Recall that the activities of the construction industry are characterized by many parameters the main of which are: capital investment, the volume of construction works and the commissioning of housing. Other indicators for positive dynamics include: number of construction companies, number of employees of construction companies, wages of employee in the construction industry, arrears of wages to employees of companies and so on.
