OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 1.4% on the year in January-July 2013 to 285 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 32.2 billion at the central bank’s exchange rate), an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-June 2013 decreased 4.2% on the year to Br302.8 trillion (USD 34.2 billion).

Farm output reduced 1.5% to Br32.8 trillion (USD 3.7 billion).

The government plans to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.

In 2012, Belarus’ GDP grew 1.5% on the year to 527.4 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 60.482 billion).
