OREANDA-NEWS.  July 26, 2013. The Sinosteel Corp. held video conference to deploy safe production Inspection. The conference conveyed the key instructions from the central political leaders recently in safe production and the written guidance from Jia Baojun, the president, Chairman of the Board and the secretary of the Party Committee of the Sinosteel Corp. Mr. Xu Siwei, the secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager and Director of Safe Production Committee also delivered a mobilization speech during the conference.  

The conference conveyed the important instructions and written comments from the central political leaders. It also expressed the notification and spirit of application proposal from the General Office of the State Council, the Security Committee of the State Council, SASAC and State Administration of Work Safety in safe production inspection through issuing Notice on Safe Production Inspection of the Sinosteel Corp. and Application Proposal of Safe Production Inspection of the Sinosteel Corp.

Mr. Jia Baojun required in the written comments that the relevant departments and subsidiary enterprises should expand inspection scope to the whole enterprise and each corner based on the previous stage of safe production inspection work in accordance with deployment from the State Council, the Security Committee of the State Council and SASAC; the relevant departments and subsidiary enterprises should organize their own safe inspection work based on the actual condition; hidden danger and faults should be inspected in an in-depth way as per requirements of “full coverage, zero tolerance, strict inspection with efficiency” so as to prohibit “three disobeys” and perform rectification and reform; accidents arising from careless safe inspection and hidden dangers should be severely punished; common work process control in safe production and hidden danger prevention should be built through this opportunity to lay a solid foundation for enterprise safe production; it is required to promote stable enterprise operation through continuous safe work production inspection to serve reform and development of the Sinosteel Corp. in the process of making up deficit and increasing surplus.  

Mr. Xu Siwei strengthened in his speech that the enterprises should carry forward the Application Proposal of Safe Production Inspection of the Sinosteel Corp. seriously, formulate specific safe inspection proposals based on the actual condition in accordance to requirements of “full coverage” in inspection scope, “zero tolerance” in inspection process, “strict” in punishment and “efficiency” in inspection result and prevent major accidents  through promoting safe production inspection, inspecting hidden dangers and performing rectification  and reform.  

General Manager Xu put forward three points in terms of this safe production inspection: first, make a full understanding of the whole situation and know clear the significance of this safe production inspection; second, strengthen measures and take better actions to promote safe production in a solid way; third, promote and optimize the ability of the enterprise to implement safe production responsibility.  

It was put forward in the conference that the relevant departments, operation management centers and subsidiary enterprises should carefully carry forward the conference spirit of the safe production inspection of the Sinosteel Corp., improve knowledge about the inspection, strengthen organization and leadership, implement in a down to earth way, prevent hidden dangers and prohibit accidents, insisting on requirements of a “comprehensive, strict, careful, solid, continuous and determined” inspection to realize efficiency in this safe production inspection.
