OREANDA-NEWS. “Lenta” Company opened two new hypermarkets. The first store with an area of 5,000 square meters was launched in Armavir, and the second - 4,000 square meters - in Belgorod

Armavir’s “Lenta” is located in the northern district of the city at 40/1 Pesochnaya Street. The store, unlike its competitors, will work around the clock.

Armavi’s Deputy Mayor Alexander Rudenko said at the opening: “Today is an important day. On one hand, a major federal trade chain with a wide range of goods came to our town. On the other hand, the most valuable thing is that we received 220 new highly paid jobs”.

Belgorod’s “Lenta” is located in the area of Kharkov Hill at 43a Schors Street. Another chain store will appear in Belgorod’s Victory Park in November 2013.

Each hypermarket sells about 20,000 food and non-food items, including produce from local manufacturers, as well as its own products and baked goods. Each store employs over 200 local residents.

With opening new stores in Armavir and Belgorod “Lenta” chain now consists of 62 stores, 29 of them working in million cities -16 in St. Petersburg, 5 in Novosibirsk, 3 in Omsk, 2 in Nizhniy Novgorod, one store in Ufa, Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don each. Until the end of the year, the company plans to launch new objects in Ulyanovsk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Tomsk, Nizhny Tagil and Kemerovo.

In April 2013, the company entered the capital’s market - the first “Lenta” brand supermarket opened in Moscow in 55 1st Ostankinskaya Street. On July 12, in the south-east of Moscow, at 8 Privolnaya Street, another “Lenta” chain supermarket opened its doors to the clients. In the near future, “Lenta” will delight Muscovites with its new stores.
