Deutsche Bank Wins Best M&A House Russia Award by Euromoney
OREANDA-NEWS. Deutsche Bank is awarded Best M&A House Russia by Euromoney Awards for Excellence. The awards ceremony took place in London on July 11, 2013. Euromoney Awards for Excellence is one of the most respected awards in the financial services industry; it recognizes institutions and demonstrates leadership, innovation and momentum in global financial markets.

Landmark mandates included acting as financial adviser to Sberbank on its USD 3.5 bn acquisition of Turkish DenizBank, the largest cross-border acquisition by a Russian bank; the fairness opinion provided by Deutsche Bank to Rosimuschestvo on Rosneft’s USD 61 bn acquisition of AAR and BP’s stake in TNK-BP with subsequent equity sale in Rosneft by Rosneftegaz; sole financial adviser and fairness opinion provider for TeliaSonera on its USD10.1 bn shareholders agreement on dividend payment and sale of shares in MegaFon; termination of Generali and PPF CEE partnership; acquisition of 50% stake in North-West Concession Company by Mostotrest for USD 247 m; acquisition of MMK-Trans by Globaltrans for USD 335 m.
Deutsche Bank has received 19 awards in Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2013 getting two global awards and 17 Country and Regional Awards.
