OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2013. Sergey Dyachenko joined MMC Norilsk Nickel's management team as Deputy General Director, Chief Operating Officer.

Sergey Dyachenko has a broad experience in the mining industry. Before joining Norilsk Nickel he held senior executive positions at Kazakhmys, De Beers and Rio Tinto.

“I’m happy to join Norilsk Nickel team,” says Mr. Dyachenko, “I believe the Company has huge opportunities for further development. We are intending to maintain leadership positions in nickel, palladium and other metals markets, and by leadership I mean not only production volumes of metals, but also technological improvements, cost management, exploration and return-focused approach to investments.
