OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and the Government of Jewish Autonomous Region signed an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of the Government of Jewish Autonomous Region the Agreement was signed by Governor Alexander Vinnikov; on behalf of FAS – Stats-Secretary, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsarikovskiy.

The purpose of the Agreement is to provide a systemic solution to a number of problems: protecting competition, implementing the Competition Development Programme in Jewish Autonomous Region, creating conditions for effective market performance as well as ensuring compliance with the antimonopoly law, the law on advertising, the law on state and municipal procurement of goods, works and services, and the law on natural monopolies.

“Signing the Agreement on Cooperation shall form an excellent basis for further strengthening and developing cooperation in the field of competition policy. The Agreement will raise our relations to a new constructive level. FAS already signed similar agreements with Governments of Moscow and St Petersburg, the Authorities of Promorie, Rostov and Khabarovsk regions”, pointed out Andrey Tsarikovskiy.
