OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2013. Qatar Petroleum’s Offshore Operations recently honoured its department managers and employees at its Annual Awards and Recognition Ceremony, which was held at the Al-Ghazal Club.

In his keynote address, Mr. Mubarak Awaida Al-Hajri, Operations Manager-Offshore Fields, expressed his gratitude for the support of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, and for the guidance and encouragement for Mr. Said Mubarak Al-Muhannadi, Director of Operations of QP.

Mr. Al-Hajri then distributed Certificates of Appreciation and gifts to offshore managers and employees in recognition of their outstanding performance and valuable contribution in achieving the department’s business and safety targets in 2012. Among those awarded were offshore employees who participated in QP events as well as the members of the Offshore Operations Specialized Team (OOST), Plant Change Request (PCR) team and Continual Improvement (CI) team.

Offshore Operations also honoured the management of Bul Hanine and Maydan Mahzam fields for successfully completing the 2013 major shutdown according to the allocated timeframe without any incidents.
