OREANDA-NEWS. The round-table “International Experience for Domestic Innovations” was held in Yaroslavl on July 3 in terms of Foresight-Health Project aimed at innovative development of healthcare of Russian. This initiative serves to establish the efficient solution exchange between scientists, doctors, R&D institutions, manufacturers and governmental departments. The event was sponsored by Administration of Yaroslavl Region.

The meeting was attended by: A. Senin, Deputy Governor, Yaroslavl Region; S. Wonderwald, Head of Healthcare and Pharmaceutics Department, Yaroslavl Region; A. Pavlov, Principal of Yaroslavl State Medical Academy; S. Kashin, PhD, General Endoscopist, Yaroslavl Region; I. Staroverov, Head of Surgery Faculty, Yaroslavl State Medical Academy; Y. Fedulayev, MD, Head of Therapy Faculty, Russian National Medical Research University; I. Wesker, Takeda; and M. Samsonov, Chief Medical Officer, R-Pharm Group.

M. Samsonov, Chief Medical Officer, R-Pharm Group, shared his company experience gained from development of domestic biotech pharmaceuticals designed to support innovative healthcare system evolution.

The participants approved a final statement proposing basic innovative development principles for healthcare and pharmaceutical industries in Yaroslavl Region.
